   My recent diet of  $3.75 Chinese food is pretty awesome.  I would suggest it to any hungry person that doesn't have food in their house.

Darfur benefit tomorrow.  Everybody should go.  It's for a good cause.  Hundreds of thousands are dead, and millions have been left homeless and displaced.  It has been going on for years and has been virtually ignored by the international community.  Come and donate some money for a good cause and in return you get to listen to music and hang out with friends, and as you enjoy yourself you can think of how your donation may be used to provide food, shelter, or medical care to a starving dying child and his or her family.

I have a lot more learning left to do, and I've never felt so jaded.

On a more positive note:

Britney Spears has shaved her head and has decided to start a band called Minor Threat

Ok actually it was just a hardcore band that covered a few Minor Threat songs

Just kidding.  Even with rehab there is no way she will ever be Straight Edge.

Darfur Benefit - March 2nd @ Ohio University-Zanesville

Everybody come to the Darfur benefit.  It is by far the most important of them all.  Since 2003 over 400,000 people have been killed in the Darfur region.  It has been virtually ignored by every major international power.  Donate some money for a good cause.

Rumors:

Esskyma is finally finishing their cd.  Duplication will begin very shortly.  They aim to have cds released for these shows, but the 23rd may be cutting it.  March 2nd is almost a definite.  They will be $10.  5 songs, 50 minutes.

On February 28th we are returning to the studio to finish the recording of a 2 song EP.

At THE UNION.

This is our first actual show since August.  Kinda nervous.  I think I'm more looking foward to seeing Southeast Engine again.  And I'm pretty sure that Adam Torres from Southeast Engine is playing a short acoustic set, which will be nothing less than awesome.

It would be great to have some people come.  Afterwards everybody could come and hang out at the Esskyma House.  Our house is always up for a good time.

I don't think I've had a decent night of sleep in a couple weeks.  But that's ok because things are going nicely.  Christmas time was lovely because I got to see family and friends.  The party was great because I got to see everybody drunk even if I didn't want to, like Nick.  He gets weird.  I hope everybody had a good time with that.  I'm sure there will be another similar event in the future.  Maybe the Christmagram will stay on the wall.  We worked very hard on that for like two minutes.

Esskyma is back in the studio and we've recorded the foundation tracks for our two newest songs.  Our full length should be out soon.  The two songs will form an EP that should be out shortly after.  It clocks in at around 25-30 minutes.  The full length is just over 47 minutes.  I miss playing shows, we haven't done anything since August.
